ITINERARY:

Day 1: ARRIVAL - ZAGREB

Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Free time to explore the capital of Croatia. Accommodation in Zagreb.

Day 2: ZAGREB

After breakfast, guided tour of Zagreb with a local guide. We will walk through Zagreb old town – “Gornji grad”, where they will tour the famous Zagreb cathedral, St. Mark's Church and King Tomislav Square. In the impressive main square, theJosip Jelacic Square, they will learn the legend about the origin of the name of the city. In the afternoon, we will have free time to experience the fusion of continental and Mediterranean spirits that characterize this city. Accommodation in Zagreb.

Day 3: ZAGREB - LIUBLIANA

After breakfast transfer to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. We will walk along the banks of the Ljubljana River, which crosses the old part of the city, with original bridges, including the Dragon Bridge, the symbol of the city. Then you can visit the most strategic point of the city – Ljubljana castleand enjoy majestic views of the capital and its historic quarter. Free afternoon to enjoy the streets of old Ljubljana on your own. Night in Ljubljana.

Day 4: LIUBLIANA – BLED – BOHINJ - LIUBLIANA

Breakfast. Transfer to Bled where will they visit castle whose patio offers impressive panoramic views over the peaks of the Julian Alp sand about the Bled lake with the island in the middle. Then, optionally, take the traditional “pletna” boat ride to the island, where the baroque church of Sta. María is located, where they will play the bell of the wishes. In the afternoon, continue until Bohinj with the largest natural lake in Slovenia, located in the heart of the Triglav National Park. The lake will impress you with the reflections of the high peaks of the Julian Alps. Along the way you will see the alpine villages as they pass they seem as if they were built in a fairy tale setting. We also recommend the climb to the waterfall slap savica along a path along the mountain. If the weather allows it, you can swim in the lake. Return to Ljubljana. Overnight in Ljubljana.

Day 5: LIUBLIANA – POSTOJNA/PREDJAMA - OPATIJA

After breakfast transfer from Ljubljana to the town of Postojna to visit the famous postojna cave which is the largest cave in Europe open to the public. Part of the visit to the cave is done by electric train, otherwise it would take more than an hour to walk to reach the most spectacular part. Later they will visit the magical Predjama Castle, located about 9 kilometers from Postojna. The medieval castle is famous for its incredible location, situated below a rock, with caves and hiding places. In the afternoon transfer to Opatija on the coast of the Kvarner Bay, which, due to its pleasant climate, was a very popular place among the elite of Vienna at the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Night in Opatija.

Day 6: OPATIJA – PLITVICE - ZADAR

After breakfast they will go to the Plitvice Lakes National Park, which is declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Highlights its spectacular beauty of the lakes, waterfalls and riverbeds They disappear and come back to life. In the park they will enjoy the aquatic phenomena, walking along the trails, and they will return to the starting point in a boat. After the visit of the park, transfer to Zadar - the city that, in the words of Alfred Hitchcock, offers the best sunset in the world. Day 7: ZADAR – SIBENIK - SPLIT

After breakfast we will get to know the rich heritage of the historic center of Zadar: the Roman Forum, the Church of Saint Donatus, the Cathedral of Saint Anastasia, Kalelarga street and the walls. We will continue to another city on the coast: Sibenik with its famous Santiago Cathedral (also part of UNESCO), built in the 15th century.

If there is time and you want to visit more natural parks in Croatia, you can join the optional visit of the Krka NP, a natural park of incalculable value, where there are more than a thousand plant and animal species, including amphibians, reptiles and endemic fish species. Krka National Park is the only National Park in Croatia where bathing is allowed. Accommodation in Split.

Day 8: SPLIT – TROGIR - SPLIT

Breakfast. In the morning visit Split, the second largest city in Croatia. You will get to know the historic center, which was listed as World Heritage by UNESCO, with a local guide. Optionally, they will be able to enter the cellars of the diocletian palace, built in the 4th century by the Roman emperor Diocletian that had the function of a retirement home. We will pass from outside by the Saint Domnius Cathedral and the temple of Jupiter. In the afternoon transfer to Trogir which is a harmonious medieval stone village located on an island, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. is famous as museum city for its very well preserved Renaissance and Baroque buildings. Day 9: SPLIT - DUBROVNIK

After breakfast, you will go to Dubrovnik. Along the way you can admire the natural beauties of the beautiful adriatic coast. In the afternoon, they will take a tour of the Dubrovnik Old Townwith a local guide. It should be noted that Dubrovnik is the most famous city on the Adriatic Sea coastand is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. There they will visit outside the Rector's Palace and the Franciscan monastery with the oldest pharmacy in the world. Day 10: DUBROVNIK - AIRPORT
